¡Hola a todos! Me encantan los videojuegos y aunque no tenga mucho tiempo para jugarlos, trato de disfrutarlos cuando lo hago. Una de las cosas que siempre me ha gustado, son recorrer los mapas de los RPGs. Incluso podría pecar de dejar abandonada las misiones principales por el simple hecho de pasarme horas enteros recorriendo únicamente el mapa. Y ni qué decir cuando encuentras una sección oculta o que no se aprecia en el mismo. Por eso, decidí dibujar y pintar aquellos mapas de los juegos que he jugado y de aquellos que me llaman la atención. Hello everyone! I love video games and even though I don't have much time to play them, I try to enjoy them when I do. One of the things that I have always liked is going through the maps of RPGs. I could even sin by leaving the main missions abandoned for the simple fact of spending whole hours just going through the map. And not to mention when you find a hidden section or that is not appreciated in it. That's why I decided to draw and paint those maps of the games I've played and those that catch my attention. To start, I chose one of my favorite maps, since it was one of the ones that awakened in me that spirit of a video game map explorer hehe

Lo que más me gusta de éste mapa es (aparte de su abundante color verde 💚), es que puedes apreciarlo un poco mejor con el zoom del videojuego. Realicé una captura de pantalla en el emulador, en donde se puede detallar el mapa entero. Como borré esa captura, aquí les conseguí esta para que vean el mapa:

What I like the most about this map is (apart from its abundant green color 💚), is that you can appreciate it a little better with the video game zoom. I made a screenshot in the emulator, where the entire map can be detailed. Since I deleted that capture, here I got this for you to see the map:

En un block de cartulina blanca, procedí a realizar el boceto a lápiz con lápiz de grafito. Sin mucho detalle, sólo estableciendo la ubicación de cada cosa.

On a white cardboard block, I proceeded to make the pencil sketch with graphite pencil. Without much detail, just establishing the location of each thing.

Luego, utilizando pinturas acrílicas, pinté todo el mapa.

Then, using acrylic paints, I painted the entire map.

Fueron necesarias de dos a tres capas para cubrir decentemente el fondo del papel (dependiendo del color utilizado).

It took two to three coats to decently cover the bottom of the paper (depending on the color used)

Para dar sombras y definiciones, utilicé los lápices de colores. En cuanto a las luces, un poco de pintura blanca.

To give shadows and definitions, I used colored pencils. As for the lights, a little white paint.

Con un marcador punta fina color negro, delineé todo el dibujo, para resaltarlo todo.

With a fine tip black marker, I outlined the entire drawing, to highlight everything.

Como detalle final y mi parte favorita, utilicé algodón para las las nubes. Pegué el mismo con pegamento escolar, obteniendo un lindo efecto en 3D.

As a final detail and my favorite part, I used cotton for the clouds. I glued the same with school glue, getting a nice 3D effect.

Debo admitir que me gustó mucho el resultado, aparte que me ayudó bastante a mantenerme concentrada. Tenía algo de temor cuando lo empecé, ya que no soy tan experta en cosas tan detalladas. Pero es un buen ejercicio para dibujar, sin mencionar que si eres amante de dibujar cosas pequeñas, esta clase de dibujos te entretendrán bastante. Iré subiendo mis próximos mapas y sus procesos de elaboración. Esten atentos.

I must admit that I really liked the result, apart from the fact that it helped me a lot to stay focused. I was a bit apprehensive when I started it, as I'm not that expert in such detailed stuff. But it is a good drawing exercise, not to mention that if you are a lover of drawing small things, this kind of drawings will entertain you a lot. I will upload my next maps and their elaboration processes. Pay attention.
